27 M c/o asymptomatic skin lesions

 TRUNCAL ACNE + SEBORRHEIC CAPITIS + POST INFLAMMATORY HYPERPIGMENTATION SECONDARY TO NUMMULAR ECXEMA OVER LEFT LEG

I have been given this case to solve in an attempt to understand the topic of " patient clinical data analysis" to develop my competency in reading and comprehending clinical data including history, clinical findings, investigations and come up with diagnosis and treatment plan.


Patient c/0 asymptomatic skin lesions over both arms since 3 to 4 years

H/0 dandruff present since 5 years

No h/o photosensitive

No h/o  atopy

No h/o useage of topical medication

No known comorbidities

On examination

Multiple, well defined, monomorphic erythematous papules with scaling notes over bilateral arms

Left leg: single well defined hyperpigmented macule notes over lower 1/3 rd of leg just above medial malleolus

Scalp: greasy scales noted









Treatment 

1.CEBHYDRA LOTION L/A BD FOR 2 WEEKS

MORNING-----------------NIGHT

2.8X SHAMPOO TWICE WEEKLY FOR 2 WEEKS
